COMSAG UDS KICKSTARTS MEDIA PRACTICALS

 The communication students association of ghana , university for development studies , nyankpala campus has kicked off on hand on practicals in the media light after a long drought of practicals in their line of study.    The current level 400 social change communication students were the first to begin. As part of their mid-trimester examination in videography students were tasked to produce a five(5)  minute documentary on various issues concerning student lifestyle and conditions on campus in line to social change. There was excitement on the faces of students amidst the stress of having to write scripts , scout locations , waiting for their turn to shoot, getting their shots right and also the feel of their dues payment coming into fruition since students haven’t had this experience and exposure for years. GES GIVES TIMELINE FOR 2020/2021 BECE SCHOOLS PLACEMENTS

A letter  dated 26  February, 2021,  signed and released by Cassandra Twum Ampofo, the Head of Public Re lations Unit of the Ghana Education Service (GE S) ,   from the headquarters  in Accra indicated  that,  the schools placement for the 2020 batch will be released as soon as all processes of placements are affirmed by GES. She mentioned  that, “ Out of the total of 533,693 registered candidates, 494,530 candidates qualified to be  placed.” " These 494,530 candidates  who qualified  for placements  would have no  issues with schools of their choice.   P lacement s are  done based on the results these students had when they  sat for last year’s Basic Education Certificate Examination.  D istribution of students to th e various  S enior  Hi gh  S chools across  the country was  based on  the  computerized school selection and placement system employed by the Government...

UDS STUDENTS WANT SANITATION CRISIS SOLVED.

  Students from the University for development studies (UDS), Nyankapala campus have called in management of the institution to put in measures to stop poor Sanitation situations on Campus. According to the students is about time management set rules and regulations to hold students accountable if campus is not kept neat. To them [students], management have done their part in keeping the campus clean. It is now the duty of students to make sure the measures (waste bins) put in place by management are utilised. " Management and the SRC have done thier part by providing waste bins at vantage points on campus. THE STAND OF THE PRESIDENT ON THE PRACTICE OF LGBT IN GHANA

L esbian, Gay, bisexual, and Transgender (LGBT)  has become the most prioritised content on all media platforms for the month of February. Same-sex marriage is considered   unreligious,  uncultured and frowned upon in the Ghanaian  setting. This  is simply known  as same-sex marriage-across  the world.
